Experience
We’re looking for an Accountant with strong IFRS expertise, advanced 1C and Excel skills, and experience preparing financial statements for international entities. This role is for someone who can independently manage reporting, control outsourced accounting providers, prepare management analytics and support banking compliance requests across multiple jurisdictions.
Benefits
You will be responsible for preparing monthly management reporting with detailed plan vs actual analysis, independently producing IFRS financial statements for selected jurisdictions and reviewing the quality of reporting prepared by external accounting providers. The role involves working with international structures across Cyprus, Hong Kong, Singapore and the UAE. You will also prepare detailed responses to banks regarding the economic purpose of incoming and outgoing transactions and support KYC/AML compliance processes.
About the company and the project:
Your tasks
Prepare monthly management reporting for the assigned project. Perform plan vs actual analysis and provide clear comments on financial variances.
Independently prepare full IFRS financial statements for jurisdictions where statutory audit and filing are not required. Prepare Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Cash Flow Statement and accompanying notes. Maintain and control primary accounting documentation.
Coordinate day-to-day communication with external accountants and accounting providers. Perform full quality control of financial statements prepared by outsourced accounting teams.
Review consolidated reporting for structures in Hong Kong, Singapore, the UAE and Cyprus. Verify the accuracy, completeness and consistency of accounting data.
Review accounting adjustments, classifications and balances. Prepare detailed responses to bank compliance requests. Explain and document the economic purpose of incoming and outgoing payments.
Support KYC and AML processes by collecting and preparing financial documentation. Work with international financial data, supporting documents and accounting records. Ensure reporting is completed accurately and within strict internal and banking deadlines.

Requirements
Higher education in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field. Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
Practical experience preparing a complete IFRS reporting package from scratch. Understanding of financial statement transformation principles.
Advanced knowledge of 1C Accounting or another 1C accounting configuration. Ability to create data selections and customised reports in 1C. Strong understanding of the chart of accounts, accounting entries and adjustments.
Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, slicers, SUMIFS and INDEX/MATCH.
Business English at B2–C1 level. Ability to conduct professional correspondence in English. Ability to understand financial terminology and review financial statements from foreign jurisdictions.
Experience working with international outsourced accounting providers. High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and resolve issues without constant supervision. Ability to work effectively under strict banking and reporting deadlines.
Nice to Have: Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting; ACA, ACCA, CIMA, DipIFR or a similar professional qualification; Understanding of accounting and regulatory requirements in Cyprus, Hong Kong, Singapore and the UAE; Experience reviewing consolidated reporting across multiple international entities; Experience supporting bank compliance, KYC and AML requests; Experience working in an international or multi-jurisdictional company.
