You will join a European-licensed investment firm specializing in traditional brokerage, portfolio management services, and proprietary trading. As a Data Scientist / Quantitative Analyst, you will work closely with developers, researchers, and traders to research market inefficiencies, test hypotheses, and build trading systems that operate in live markets.
About the company and the project:
Your tasks
Research, develop, and implement quantitative trading strategies. Test and deploy statistical models, algorithms, and trading signals in an active trading environment.

Conduct data mining and statistical analysis to identify market inefficiencies. Perform in-depth research to build and improve trading systems.

Analyze large datasets and extract insights for trading strategy development. Present research results through reports, visualizations, and presentations for the team.

Collaborate with team members on quantitative research projects. Technology Stack: Development (Python, Scala, Rust), Infrastructure (Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Providers), Databases (ClickHouse, PostgreSQL).

Advantages
Requirements
Higher education in statistics, mathematics, econometrics, or computer science. At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist / Quantitative Analyst in a fintech or trading-related environment.

Experience conducting data research with real-world application in stock trading. Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Solid knowledge of probability theory and statistics. Python or Scala programming level: Middle+ with experience in data analysis.

Ability to develop and launch profitable trading strategies. Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and proactivity. Experience as a Financial Quantitative Analyst or in a similar role will be an advantage.

Russian — native or bilingual, English — intermediate level.
